My Life with a Camera
Welcome
I was born many years ago in the UK and became interested in photography in my early teens when I was given a Kodak 44A camera, that was nearly 60 years ago. Adventure became an important part of my life after going cycling around Austria. This was followed by an expedition to Iceland. A few years later I undertook a 12 month overland trip through Europe and the Middle East to Afghanistan in a Mini Estate car, sadly a journey that can no longer be safely undertaken. On returning home penniless I took a job as an International Sales engineer allowing me to carry on travelling and getting paid to do it. A camera has always been an essential item of luggage wherever I go. Most of my early travels were in the days of film but since switching to digital cameras I feel photography has become a more expressive art form. As I develop this website further I hope to give insights of the journey I have been on, happy viewing.
